For as long as I can remember, I’ve been entranced by the power of the written word. Books, articles, TV & movies, theatre — I’ve loved them all. Turning my love of words into a lifelong career has always been my dream, and I’m thrilled that I get to make that dream a reality!
My first-ever professional byline came courtesy of the theatre commons HowlRound, where I penned an essay on one of my favorite subjects: the technical craft of musical theatre writing. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to write for so many wonderful publications (and equally wonderful editors!) about everything from pop culture to home decor, healthy living, food, and even sports.
I’m as passionate about learning as I am about finding just the right words to convey every story. My research skills, honed through academia, allow me to dig deep into any topic and write articles that answer questions and appeal to readers (and work for SEO!), whether it’s a topic I’m already an expert on or one I’m just learning about.
